Dr. George E. Bambara, M.S., D.M.D.
Dr Bambara is on the teaching staff of UMDNJ and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Staten Island. He is also on the Attending Staff at New York Methodist Hospital and Seaview Hospital on Staten Island. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental Society and the Richmond County Dental Society where he served as President in 1998. He holds Fellowships in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the International Academy of Dento-Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Bambara lectures nationally and internationally on attachment prosthetics and has been selected as one of the “Top Clinicians in Continuing Education” for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 by Dentistry Today magazine. He is a general practitioner with a private practice on Staten Island. Dr Bambara was inducted into the College of Staten Island Hall of Fame in 1997.

Dr. Bambara Up Close and Personal
Dr Bambara was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended St John the Evangelist Grammar School, Xaverian High School and received his Bachelors Degree from St John’s University and his Master’s Degree from Richmond College. He was awarded his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-UMDNJ. Besides being President of his dental class for four years, Dr Bambara graduated with awards in Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Leadership.
Dr Bambara’s leisure time is spent doing the many things he enjoys. He is an avid golfer and bicycler and partakes in many outdoor activities including jogging, scuba diving, photography and physical fitness. His daily routine includes eating healthy food, exercise, playing guitar and playing with his two parrots, Tiki and Vito. He loves animals and enjoys reading novels. He enjoys music, theatre, and collecting guitars and has played in a number of bands over the years. He is passionate about history and travels extensively to many interesting places in the world. He is an excellent cook, savors fine wines and entertaining and does allow room for daily quiet time. Dr Bambara lives on Staten Island with his wife Janice and his two parrots.
